Our Lady of Rosary Chapel
One of the oldest churches of daman, the Chapel of Our Lady of Rosary dates back to the 17th Century. Located in old Moti Daman Fort, this church is built in the ancient Gothic style. As one steps in the chapel, the otherwise deceptive looking chapel is indeed a treat to the eyes. The wood work of the Chapel is no less than breath taking. Rose petals with hundreds of colours and golden cherubs take perfection of the artwork to the zenith, also imbibing a sense of devotion and faith. One will find the illustration of stories from the blessed saints’ lives. It is said that the idol of Mary of Rosary was fixed on the altar as a gesture of thanksgiving by the Portuguese for escaping from the Maratha leader Shivaji and his forces.

Fort Jerome
Fort Jerome is one of the best places to visit in Daman and Diu. Covering an area of about 12,250 sqmt, the fort of St Jerome, is located in Nani Daman, on the northern side of the Daman Ganga River. Named after St.Jerome, one of the most eminent fathers of the Catholic Church, this fort was built in 1627. Also known as Nani Daman Fort, it has two gateways and three bastions. The giant gateway which faces the river has a large statue of St Jerome and also two big human figures, on either side of the gateway. The principal building inside the fort is the imposing church of Our Lady of the Sea, one of the ancient seats of the office with a fine altar.

Zampa Gateway
The gateway is the entrance to Diu. The Zampa Gateway was constructed to the medieval period. The architecture is noteworthy with walls and the gateway. One will definitely notice the brilliant carvings of angels, priests and lions. After entering through the gate, there is a chapel built around 1702 AD. It is yet another wonderful monument which has intricately designs

Jampore Beach
Jampore beach boasts for being the most captivating beach of Daman. Situated at the southern part of Moti Daman, this beach has calm waters and is apt for amateur swimmers.
